i’ve been playing piano by ear for a few years, but recently i decided to start reading sheet music. I understand the naturals, the white keys, are the spaces and lines, but where do the sharps/ flats, black keys, fall on a scale?

I’m not very good at playing piano by ear so can someone give me the simple chords to the song?
And the notes in the chords too if that is okay.

there are people in my family who can play piano by ear, i’m not sure if that has anything to do with whether i can or not but i’m wondering if this is considered playing piano by ear:

i’ve never had any piano lessons, but i know the notes from playing for fun. if i want to play a song (not the chords and stuff but just the actual song) i can figure it out after about 5 minutes without looking up the notes once. is that playing piano by ear? or is playing piano by ear just when you sit down and can play a whole song? i could probably figure out chords to a song, i’m just not that experienced at playing piano yet. any help would be great!

I love playing piano! I have more experience playing piano by ear then I do with reading music, which I am not very good at the intermediate parts.

ive been playing piano for almost a year by notes. but it seems playing piano by ear is faster and easier. can you suggest or reccomend me something? or do you know a website that offers FREE lessons online? every answer will be appreciated. thanks

I play piano by chords… I want to know how I can improve. If you say practice… how do I "practice"? Also… how do I play piano by ear? If it is a gift… at least how do I improve my playing piano by ear?

I can read sheet music pretty well. I sometimes want to play a song, but can’t find the sheet music on the internet. I think it would be alot easier to play by ear then searching the internet for music. Do you have any tips for playing piano by ear?
