well i can read tabs and notes because i play guitar and im pretty good at guitar (4 years exp) and i just played piano because i had one at home and i was learning this clasical song (claire de lunethe twilight theme) and it was really really fun to learn
im learning by ear and playing tabs
i haven’t gone to classes and im thinking of learning by myself
im improving each time
what are some things that you can tell me to start off and tips to play the piano WITHOUT a teacher or anything

I’ve been trying to learn Weezer’s Run Over By A Truck on piano, off their album Raditude. I’ve tried learning it by ear, as it’s not anywhere on the internet, but I’m really struggling. Can anyone help?
Links to sites that supply piano sheet music isn’t going to help, as I’ve searched on the internet already, as I’ve said, sorry.
But if any of you piano genius’ out there know how to play it or can learn it by ear for me, I’d really appreciate it!

Hi. I have recently heard from the holiday soundtrack, music done by Hans zimmer. I have been craving to learn the music on piano. I would appreciate if anyone could tell me where i could find any or all of the sheet music from the soundtrack. I have tried learning it by ear but i want it perfect! haha

my friend has been playing piano by ear for 9 or 10 years and wants to learn guitar by ear but will do tabs or whatevver to get the gist of it
and she picks any song up in like 3 seconds so will it be easy
she can recognize any note on guitar but mimic it on piano
so how long should it take for her from your experience to learn guitar almost fully or atleast half way with a teacher and how much by self learning and internet
she picks things up like reallly fast
also please guys check my video of me singing shes playing piano but shes not doing it like she normaly would since shes super tired

I keep looking around, but I haven’t played piano long enough to simply learn by ear. I know they have one sheet out there which isn’t even the full song, but if anyone knows about some sheet music for the whole song, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

K, I just bought a full size piano, and it’s old, I know it’s not in tune. (please don’t tell me to tune it, I’m going to get it tuned soon)

I am learning from scratch, and me and my father haven’t talked about music lessons yet (yes, I’m fourteen :p) and I don’t know how to read sheet music.

I want to learn some songs by ear, but apparently I should know where the key of C is first, but I have no idea how to locate it on anything but a keyboard. In fact, I don’t know how to find it at all.

Can anyone give me tips on learning by ear, and how to find the key of C?

I’m going to be in piano class next year, I can play piano by ear but I’m going to need to know how to read music for next year. Whats an effective way to learn how to read sheet music so that the notes come second nature to me without having to do any thinking to read the notes? And how can I learn everything such as time signatures, note durations etc…
